Outdoor Ashtray Types
Free-Standing Ashtray Stands
Pedestal ashtrays stand at building entrances and in smoking areas. The oval-base models use a 101.6 × 2 mm tube on a Ø33 cm, 3 mm base and stand 85 to 95 cm high:
- Grade 304 stainless steel: Ovata-219, Ovata-220 and Ovata-328, which adds a Ø24 cm tray on top.
- Powder-coated DKP steel: Ovata-202 and Ovata-221; Ovata-214 has a 2 mm base and a 304 stainless steel ashtray top.
- Ovata-201: made entirely of 304 stainless steel, 95 cm high, with an inner ash container and a floor-fixable base.
Square-column models have a powder-coated steel body and a stainless steel top. Ovata-200 and Ovata-300 have a 1 mm DKP body, a 10 × 10 cm 304 stainless top and stand 75 cm high. Ovata-203 has a 12 × 12 cm, 1.5 mm grade 430 stainless top, a 20 × 20 cm, 2 mm base and stands 64 cm high.
Cylinder and Sand-Tray Ashtrays
Cylinder ashtrays are 60 cm high with a Ø21.5 to Ø26.5 cm body. Sand-tray models hold sand on top for putting out cigarettes.
- Ovata-319 and the perforated Ovata-320: 0.60 mm powder-coated DKP steel with a sand tray.
- Ovata-205: 430 stainless steel body with a sand tray; Ovata-204 (Maxi): 430 stainless steel with an inner ash container.
- Ovata-207 (Maxi): 0.50 mm powder-coated DKP body with a 430 stainless top; Ovata-211: 430 stainless steel, Ø26.5 cm.
Ashtrays with Grill and Weighted Base
Ovata-215 has a 430 stainless top and base, a 38 mm chrome-plated tube, a weighted base and a cigarette grill. Ovata-216 is 430 stainless steel with a 38 mm stainless tube and a grill, Ø26 × 60 cm. Ovata-217 is a ball ashtray with a 1.5 mm aluminium top and base, a 48 mm chrome tube and a weighted marble base.
Glass-Panel Ashtrays
Ovata-212 (square, 25 × 25 × 70 cm) and Ovata-213 (round, Ø24.5 × 70 cm) combine 0.60 mm grade 430 stainless steel with 10 mm glass.
Wall and Pole-Mounted Ashtrays
Ovata-209 (Ø18 × 25 cm, powder-coated) mounts on a pole. Ovata-210 mounts on a pole or a flat surface and has a hinged top. Ovata-324 is a wall-mounted stainless steel ashtray made of Ø10 cm tube. The compact Ovata-323, 321 and 322 are Ø10 × 35 cm stainless tube ashtrays; 321 and 322 are brass-plated.
Ashtray and Bin Combinations
Ovata-325 combines a waste compartment and an ash compartment in a 25 × 25 × 115 cm body of 1.20 mm DKP steel with polyester powder coating; floor fixing is available if you mention it with your order. Stainless Steel or Powder-Coated Steel?
Ovata Steel ashtrays use three materials. Grade 304 stainless steel is the higher-alloy grade and is used on models such as Ovata-201, 219 and 220. Grade 430 stainless steel is used on models such as Ovata-204, 211 and 216. Powder-coated DKP steel models, such as Ovata-202 and 319, have an electrostatic oven-baked finish. Tell us where the ashtrays will stand, for example near the sea or under cover, and we will suggest suitable models.
Fixing and Stability
- Floor-fixable bases: Ovata-200, 201, 203, 214 and 300; Ovata-325 on request.
- Weighted bases: Ovata-215 and the marble-based Ovata-217.
