Types of Outdoor Trash Bins
Choose the type by where the bin will stand and how it should look. All types have a steel structure with an electrostatic oven-baked coating, except the stainless steel Ovata-309.
Wood-Slat Outdoor Bins
Wood-slat bins combine a steel body with oven-dried hornbeam slats finished with a water-based varnish. Most models have a 2 mm DKP steel flat-bar body and a 0.70 mm DKP inner bucket. Round models measure Ø36 to Ø45 cm and 70 to 90 cm high; square models are 40 × 40 cm and 85 cm high. Examples: Ovata-700, Ovata-612 and the double Ovata-616. Metal Outdoor Bins
All-metal bins suit streets, car parks and building entrances. They come in several constructions:
- Ovata-600: 45 × 45 × 95 cm, outer housing of 40 × 40 × 1.5 mm box profile, 0.80 mm inner bucket and a bag holder.
- Ovata-619: 40 × 40 × 105 cm, 30 × 30 × 1.5 mm box-profile frame and 0.80 mm DKP sheet.
- Ovata-618: 30 × 30 × 70 cm without its top roof, 0.80 mm DKP body and a bag holder.
- Ovata-605: 35 × 35 cm and 90 cm high, on a 40 × 40 mm box-profile leg with a 2 mm sheet bag holder.
- Ovata-603 (U model) and Ovata-604: Ø28 cm bucket, 55 cm high, 0.70 mm body on 48 × 1.20 mm tube legs.
- Ovata-6001: top Ø45 cm, 70 cm high, 2 mm flat-bar body with a 21 mm tube top ring and an optional metal inner bucket.
- Ovata-607: cage-style bin, top Ø50 cm, 75 cm high, 2 mm flat-bar outer body and 0.80 mm DKP inner bucket.
Outdoor Bins with Ashtray
These bins add an ashtray on top, for entrances and smoking areas. Ovata-601 has a 48 × 1.20 mm tube outer body; Ovata-602 has an outer body of 12 mm twisted steel bars. Both measure Ø45 × 95 cm and have a 0.80 mm DKP inner bucket. Ovata-309 is made of 0.70 mm grade 430 stainless steel and measures Ø35 × 70 cm. Stand-alone models are in Outdoor Ashtrays.

Materials, Inner Buckets and Colour
- Steel and finish: DKP steel sheet, flat bar, tube or box profile with an electrostatic oven-baked coating. Ovata-309 is grade 430 stainless steel.
- Wood: on most models, hornbeam slats, oven-dried and finished with water-based varnish. Ovata-703 has coloured varnished slats, and Ovata-709 has lacquered wood slats that can be painted in the colour you need.
- Inner bucket or bag holder: most models have a 0.70–0.80 mm DKP inner bucket. Ovata-600, 605 and 618 have a bag holder, and Ovata-611 and 704 have a clamp-type bag holder inside instead of a bucket.
